This class integrates a variety of subjects and topics through classic children's literature. Course includes various authors and illustrators in such genres as the oral tradition, fantasy, realistic and historical fiction, poetry, and the picture book. Students will participate in group discussions and projects around the themes within each piece of literature. Students will have fun participating in active play, educational activities and creative arts projects.
